Scrapbooking embellishments!

This is a little entry of the embellishments I got for my niece’s scrapbook! I love them! they’re so cute and crafty! I didn’t write anything much so just enjoy the pictures!.

Megan’s Scrapbooking tips for where to find things!
Embellishments… get them at any craft store (e.g spotlight-quite expensive though),,, my secret place to get cheap embellishments is in those little asian shops in like manukau or whatever where everything is only a few dollars… and better! places like the warehouse are good for bits and pieces (like page boarders, preset pages, scrapbook albums etc.) and to print your pictures from your digital camera or USB … harvey norman/warehouse stationary ($0.29 each) where you use those “print your own picture” machines… and anywhere else will do…

Well… Lately (as in like the last 3/4) weekends I haven’t been at home! Unbelievable! hehe, well I’ve been going here and there, that I haven’t actually had any serious “R&R” time for myself… Like I went to school camp one weekend, then camp with family & friends, then Whangamata & now, this weekend I’m due to go tramping for the entire weekend! Duke of Ed… fun fun,. .. right… AND its supposed to rain this weekend! I have like the BEST luck ! haha

I’ve decided to make a Scrapbook for my niece’s first birthday like I did when she was 1 month old… I’ve got practically 5 days to do it and now I’m like stressed hard out! I hope it will be finished!

At the moment I’ve been updating this blog so it’s better, like adding loads of stuff to the side bar etc.. I will keep working on it, hopefully I will get to put in the search bar soon (so you guys can look for stuff on my page) ,,, ,

Easter Holidays in Whangamata and a birthday!

Woo!! Guess what? Im 14! unbelievable! I had my birthday yesterday, it was pretty low key and everything, no party, no special dinner (for the first time can you believe it?) but it’s all good. actually quite relaxing to be honest! Well the reason why I didn’t have a party was because my family and family friends went on holiday for the Easter break in Whangamata! It was so awesome because it was just chillaxing, eating ice cream, boogey boarding, apple picking, walking round town, eating “BAM” (hot chips with salsa mince, sour cream and jalapenoes) and singstarring for 3 and a half sweet days! the weather was pretty good and we had loads of junk food along the way! On saturday, we ordered a cake from a bakery we found on the ONE STREET in whangamata(i mean there were others but they were residential)…

well here’s to next year’s birthday!

So… we walked down the main road for like 10-15 mins and arrived at a market! How lucky since they only came once a month ! It had like a craft, plants, fashion and art section! We spent a bit of time here checking out all the things! I bought a really cool holder/organiser/bag thing for bits and pieces, we got some chutney, scarf, top, etc…..

So this is my birthday cake! It was cute and really yummy!

When those two finally woke up, it was time to go apple picking… we got many bags for $1 a kilo as we picked those trees!

Lunch time! we’re all stuck in the van because it started raining, but it’s all good it was a heap of fun!

Mt Manganui

So… 2 weekends after school camp it was time for more camping! with family and friends! We travelled down for around4 hours after school on friday to Mt Manganui to spend a few days. It was so fun ! Some memories to remember. . . .

This was soo fun! All we did was go up to the pounding waves, waited for them and ran back to shore before we got soaked… like Nicolas and Vincent…

Boogey Boarding!! Woo!! awesome!! ride a wave! yes jaz, nic and I almost got caught by the rip on the same wave… quite freaky being trapped under the water but we all got up and kept boogey boarding!! You should try it!

Steam boat dinner ! you should check out the food… it was delish! we are hungry little monsters after boogey boarding! YUM YUM!!

School Camp ‘08

Yes! the Long awaited Camp post is finally here! I won’t bore you with loads of writing, I’ll just bury you with tons of photos!

Load down… Went to Turangi (Tongariro National Park) Camp was OPC! it was the BOMB!! the view (mountains) were amazing! they changed every day (if thats possible) and it was the most fun camp I’ve been to! Words can’t explain… So we start our photo journey…

Camp week!

Okay… I owe this blog a big one.. so Im going to blog about my Wed to Sunday camp last week! It was the shizz! but first give me a bit of time… loads of school work…be back by the weekend!!
