Hamilton Gardens!
These gardens were pretty cool! I loved the Italian Renaissance best… have a flick through the pictures of our morning in Hamilton.

Camping
We were all super excited about staying out in a tent, but first of all we had to set it up in our backyard. It was difficult following the instructions, but after a LLONNGGGG while, we finally managed to assemble the 6 person tent to all its full glory.
After some fun and games in it (playing cards) with Siew Lee jeh jeh in it, a long afternoon and a midnight movie (Enchanted), we were finally ready for bed.
We spent two nights sleeping in the tent and when it was time to bring it down, we did so with most hesitation. This is what it looked like…

Western Springs
We visited this park as part of our Auckland Sightseeing day trip and enjoyed the views Western Springs had to offer. We fed the birds and discovered some hidden talent in the family in the form of photography! Who would have guessed?

This style of ‘trees in clouds’ effect has been officially copyrighted by none other than the famous photographer Ivy Koh…

Rotorua
Home to the stink bombs, luge, gondolas and zorbs! Guaranteed fun to the max~
So we landed in our motel rooms first and check out the bed sheets!
We looked out and saw a pool! Yee har!! We would definitely we be in it later!

Next day was luging day! Up the gondolas and onto the scenic & advanced track – calling for pictures…

We also went to the Lady Knox show & Geothermal Wonderland. Not many words could be used to describe such a place apart from stinky, rotten eggs & beautiful.
